machines

I read about a speech by our PM on babies. Of course I agree with the statistics, e.g xxx amt of babies is needed to replace xxx of non-productive old singaporeans. For the long -term survival of Singapore, I would also be very concern if I am the leader.

AND I WILL FUCKING ASK MYSELF WHY!!!! INSTEAD ON FOCUSING ON SHORT TERM FUCKING BENEFITS THAT DO NOT WORK!!!!

Sorry and not sorry for the vulgarities, some people just deserved it. Have you wonder why Singaporeans don't want to have babies? Procreation is something that is so inbuilt in humans, yet something, just something in Singapore can alter this innate characteristic of the species. Amazing. Most people with a normal eq (and not earning 100k/mth) will realise that raising a child is so taxing in Singapore, taxing on the child and the parents. Who would want to give birth and watch the child labour in school, and than later in life and work? Not everyone could be born with a white shirt, and becomes a General in the army when one doesn't even look like a soldier.

If any government official would care to read this, they will shoot the SOP question: "instead of harping on the faults of the government, do you have any other better suggestions?"
Of course I do, at least I won't bring in foreign talents at such a binding speed to stem the declining birth rate. For God sake, please, as I reiterate so many times before, humans are not machines. Mr Govt, I repeat, humans are not machines. You have no sincerity in helping the people, everything, everything is point towards economy growth. Please I do not want to digress into that since we are in the topic of babies making.

1. Study without daylight for at least 13 years of your life.
2. Paying high school fees and losing in result to foreign talent.
3. Pale in renumeration compared to foreign talent.
4. Work with no life to "rent" for a "house" for 99 years.

Would you want your child to grow up like this? That is assuming that you can afford to raise the child and give him/her a decent childhood. Can someone up there in white hear me? Hello?

another stupid article

SINGAPORE : There are still accounts of job seekers in Singapore being choosy, said Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng.
Speaking at the National Transport Workers' Union's 25th anniversary celebrations on Monday, he said the reason some of them had given for not taking up the job offer was that the workplace was too far, or the pay too low.
"Since they are unemployed, I hope they will give serious thought to their decision. A few hundred dollars is still better than zero. In this highly competitive world, we cannot afford to be complacent," said DPM Wong, who is also Home Affairs Minister.
"There are other countries with people who are more hungry for jobs. They too want a better life and a higher standard of living. They are eager to learn, willing to do more. If companies cannot find enough workers here, they will move to another country. When that happens, even those who are employed, will then lose their jobs," he added.

Its another stupid article. For every action, there must be a reason! Why are people rejecting the low-paying jobs, is it REALLY because of their choosiness? Of course, there is a slight chance that ALL of them are so fussy. Than again, there is also a Good Chance that the "few hundred dollars" is not enough to survive!!! Use your brains..pls, to rephrase "There are other countries with MINISTERS who work for the people without the hundred thousand per month salary"

For salary, you compare top earners in Singapore. For GST and fare hikes, you compare to worldwide standards. Such consistancy are the hallmarks of a great one.
